bKash wins “Best Financial Institution of 2021” award


bKash has been honored as the best financial institution of the year 2021 for its contribution to the country’s financial inclusion. It has won the “Best Financial Institution of the Year” award as the country’s top MFS provider under the prestigious “DHL-The Daily Star – Bangladesh Business Award”, a press release reads. .

Planning Minister MA Mannan presented the award to Kamal Quadir, Founder and CEO of bKash at a ceremony held at the Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden hotel on Friday evening.

RS Subramanian, Senior Vice President (South Asia), DHL Express; Md Miarul Haque, Managing Director of DHL Express Bangladesh; Mahfuz Anam, editor and publisher of the Daily Star, and others were present on occasion.

DHL Express and The Daily Star jointly reward the best companies and entrepreneurs for their contribution to the overall economic development of the country since 2000.

bKash has been awarded as the best brand in the country for three consecutive years in 2019, 2020 and 2021 through consumer surveys conducted by the Bangladesh Brand Forum. It was also ranked as the #1 “Employer of Choice” among multinational and local organizations across all industries for two consecutive years in 2020 and 2021, by Nielsen’s Campus Track Survey.

It was also ranked 23rd company in Fortune magazine’s annual “Changing the World 2017” list of the top 50 companies around the world to bring about change based on social issues.
