For Star Wars fans. All six Star Wars movies will be broadcast back-to-back in HD beginning Friday, 11/10 on Cinemax (check your local listings). Even if you own Star Wars on DVD, the HD versions should be stunning if your cable or satellite provider isn't over-compressing your signal.

Normally we don't cover HDTV programming as there are many other great places for such information including HDTV Magazine, Engadget HD, HD Sports Guide and others; but we thought many of you might like knowing about Cinemax's Star Wars HD marathon.

So, clear up some space on your TiVo Series 3 or HD DVR and enjoy some campy space fun. Be sure you record on the HD Cinemax channel, not the SD – they're not the same! Also, let us know if your TiVo puts any forced deletion DRM (digital rights management) nonsense on the recorded movies. We'll be watching for it as well.
