At CES, Digeo announced plans to sell their Moxi digital media recorder through retail outlets. Moxi is currently available only as a premium feature through various cable companies such as Charter, Comcast and Time Warner. Moxi is an HDTV DVR. For the retail version, Digeo currently plans to include the ability to view recorded HD content in multiple rooms with connectivity between the boxes coming over existing cable. Currently, the only HDTV cable DVR options that can be purchased are the TiVo Series 3 and soon Microsoft Vista-based Media Center PCs. Moxi's entrance into the market is a welcome addition. Pricing for the retail Moxi is not yet determined. Availability is planned for the second half of 2007. Digeo.com
