What's in the box?
A unique conversion of video, still and computer, the Sanyo Xacti is a video camera that will record up to 1280x720 HD video and 5 megapixel (3680 x 2760) still images on SD cards. Included in with the Sanyo Xacti HD1 camera is a lithium ion battery, AC adapter and USB docking station.

What's to like... or not?
Upside: A handy all-in-one device. HD recording, no tape, 10x optical zoom, image stabilization, decent exposure controls, SD and SDHC support, excellent value, just plain fun.
Downside: You'll also need to purchase a 2GB or 4GB SD card. Dedicated still cameras and video camcorders provide better quality. MPEG4 quality much lower than HDV camcorders .
