Who's on the tag? We all know someone with too many remotes in their home theater. When switching from TV to DVD takes both hands and a degree from MIT, and family members suffer from remote rage or simply refuse to watch TV alone -- it's time to simplify! A Harmony remote fills the bill. As previously reviewed, we recommend Logitech Harmony remotes. The Harmony 670 is a great-value universal remote control, especially for use with a DVR like a TiVo or cable/satellite DVR. What's in the box? Logitech Harmony 670 remote control, USB cable, CD, guide and AAA batteries. What's to like... or not? Upside: Excellent button layout, backlit, easy to use and reasonably easy to program. Downside: Does not use a rechargeable battery pack (see the 880), monochrome LCD only, novice users will need to spend some time initially to set up up the remote. What's the damage? $129.99 Logitech Harmony 670 Remote Control at Amazon
